Biggest Insecurity
Insecurity: they have two types of managers who need to oversee their people's time. Both need to be able to see and sign off on that person's time. Most tools they evaluated only let one type of manager do that, which meant the other was locked out.
After implementation: My Hours gave them theflexibility to make it work. Each type of manager got the right level of access to handle their team's time. Both managers could do what they needed without needing a separate system.
Company introduction
Round 2 Solutions is an IT consultancy based in Thailand. They implement enterprise platforms, including SAP, Salesforce, and data analytics solutions, for large enterprise clients.
Most of their 130 staff are consultants, developers, or technical specialists who work across multiple projects at any given time. Work is entirely project-based.
The Problem
Round 2 Solutions had been tracking time in Excel since the company started. Every project had its own spreadsheet. Team members filled it in and submitted it once a month for review. The back office then manually consolidated everything before processing.
At 20 or 30 people, it was manageable. By the time the company reached 100 staff with plans to grow further, the process had become a serious problem.
Situation Before Using My Hours
1.
Monthly consolidation of Excel files across all projects and departments took 1 to 2 full working days every month. The back office spent that time just pulling the data together, before any real analysis could happen.
2.
Because employees filled in spreadsheets freely, project names and task descriptions were inconsistent. Matching hours to the right cost center was slow and error-prone.
3.
Time was submitted only once a month, so there was no real-time visibility into what anyone was working on or how far along any project was.
4.
The approval flow didn't fit into any standard tool. Most tools they evaluated only allowed project managers to approve, with no way to give department managers the same rights.
How My Hours Solved the Problem
1.
Monthly consolidation that used to take 1 to 2 days now takes a fraction of that. Time is now tracked in My Hours continuously, against specific projects and tasks. The back office gets a clean, structured report instead of a stack of inconsistent spreadsheets.
2.
Project names and task categories are consistent across every entry. Projects, clients, and tasks are set up centrally in My Hours. Employees select from a defined list, so there is no room for freeform entries that are hard to match later.
3.
Managers can view time data at any point during the month, not just at the end. This gives both project managers and department managers an ongoing picture of effort and progress, rather than a monthly surprise.
4.
Both types of managers could do their jobs without needing a separate system. My Hours' role setup was flexible enough to fit how Round 2 Solutions is structured. Department managers were assigned admin access, giving them visibility and approval rights across their teams. Project managers handled their assigned projects as normal.

Why My Hours?
Nanthiya Saiyarot, who leads operations systems at Round 2 Solutions, evaluated close to 10 tools before choosing My Hours. Replicon was among them.
The deciding factor was flexibility around roles and approvals. Most tools locked approval rights to the project manager role. My Hours gave Round 2 Solutions a way to structure access so both project managers and department managers could do what they needed to do.
"The value that My Hours gave us is the simplicity of the application itself."
Nanthiya Saiyarot, Round 2 Solutions
